Every creator has a unique @username you can share (copy and share controls are in Settings under Messaging).
Anyone on Artec can use your username to send you a connection request with one short intro message. They can't send anything else until you accept.
Requests appear in the Requests tab of your inbox: you can read the intro before deciding to approve or decline. If you've worked with someone before, you're connected automatically.
